What is Linux
Linux has been around for years, but recently it has taken the press by storm, most of them comparing it against the Microsoft Windows desktop, and others against the Windows server.
The press also tell you that Linux experts are more expensive than Windows. This is partially true as the Linux operating system is based on Unix (or at least the same place that Unix started). Unix is a very reliable system and can be very complex to configure, but there are some of us out there that appreciate the smaller budgets that some companies have and you\'ll be supprised at what you can do.
Linux can be used in its classic environment as a Web Server, but also makes for a very cheap Router, file server, Email server and more. It will interact with your Windows systems and you only pay for support, and set up if no one internal can do it.

TPS Services Ltd develops some of its own applications and has made them available for you to use and provide feedback requests for a more improved system.
The applications are offered for free and tailoring of the systems are allowed, provided it complies with the GNU GPL licensing agreements and that you feed any changes back into TPS Services Ltd for future updates.
