Well hello again, we are still busy here at therapypages.com we are updating information and adding to the site all the time, keep checking it out and you will see for yourselves how much it has improved over the last 2 years. It is our anniversary this month and the time has simply whizzed by. It all began with a conversation between Steve and Tara and we were soon sitting around the table addressing labels and sending letters (with me on a volunteer basis then). Here we are now with a completely up and running exciting site full of information, with fun and games included as well as the range of individually crafted gifts and cards and the Feng Shui items and courses. What more could anyone want? Keep your e-mails and comments coming in we enjoy hearing from you and if you have any interesting recipes please contact me and we can share it with everyone. The recipe this month is from Glena, thank you for your input.
I said I would tell you about the Hand-fasting ceremony we had in December. Tara and Steve have been married for 5 years and wanted to celebrate by renewing their vows in a different way, so when they visited the Neolithic Tombs in Addington they decided that this would be the perfect place to do it. We wanted to make it really special so researched the old ways and came up with a unique ceremony where we (Julie and I) wrote the order of ceremony and Tara wrote her own and Steve's vows. We had great fun doing it and deciding what to wear and making the gowns was quite an experience.
The ceremony itself was a mixture of Celtic, Pagan and Medieval influences. The stones were dressed with Holly, Mistletoe, Candles and Apples for the occasion and we lit a traditional Yule log and toasted the happy couple with Mead after the ceremony and they jumped over the Besom before leaving the circle of stones. The weather had been pretty foul during the week leading up to the great day and we were all keeping our fingers crossed that the rain and wind would hold off. Happily the Gods and Goddesses were smiling down on us and the sun shone all the time we were at Addington, it was only as we were on the way home in the cars that the rain began and continued for the rest of the day. We returned to the house and celebrated in the traditional way with good food, good wine and good friends it was a beautiful day and one we shall all remember with a warm glow.
We all enjoyed it so much that the next ceremony is already being planned for 5 years time, perhaps in Ireland next time, I've never visited Ireland yet!!

The recipe this month is from Glena and is for a tea time treat or a quick snack for the children when they come home from school hungry. It is for Egg in a Basket and you will need:
Roll the bread lightly, with a rolling pin so that it bends more easily. Spread
with the margarine then lightly grease 3 small dishes with margarine.
Press the bread, margarine side up into the tins to form a basket shape. Bake
in the oven for 8-10 minutes until crisp.
Heat the oil in a small pan, add the tomato and cook for one minute.
Beat the eggs together with salt and pepper and add to the pan and cook stirring
constantly until they are lightly scrambled.
Place the toasted bread-baskets on plates and divide the filling between them.
You can also add small pieces of cooked bacon or ham or some cheese to the egg
mixture when scrambling.
Hope you enjoy trying it out.
We will be with you all again in 2 months time, we are having a girlie weekend in Glastonbury shortly, so until next time
