1. A Note from Hazel - the new Newsletter Co-ordinator

Well hello again everyone, hope you all had a good holiday and are now well into the New Year. We had a lovely break and went off to Italy for a week and had a wonderful time, it really is a beautiful place and if you get the chance to go, take it. The Trevi fountain is a sight to behold as is the leaning Tower of Pisa and the Vatican and Assisi and I could go on and on but I won't or you will all get bored and leave me.

We are back in full swing here at therapypages.com and have some exciting times to come. The link with SMG is now in action and they will be enclosing our leaflet with their renewals, I am sure that a whole lot of new people will be visiting our web site in the near future, and of course joining us. I hope you have all visited our shop and seen some of the lovely things that are on offer now,. We have over 200 Feng Shui items ready to be added and will be extending the range even more shortly. Credit card facilities are in place and it couldn't be easier so if you are looking for a gift that is just a little bit out of the ordinary for someone special you will not be disappointed if you visit our shop.

Tara and Stephen have both been hard at work and we are hoping to extend the good services offered at therapypages.com even more in a few weeks time so watch this space!!! We are always interested in any news or recipes from all you lovely people out there, so don't forget you can get in touch with us at therapypages.com.. If you send us your favourite recipe we will include it in our newsletter and give you the credit for it; what more could you ask.

As it is almost Valentine's Day why not check out the "Send a Hug" page on therapypages.com and send it to someone special.

Love light and twinkling stars
Hazel.

Another gem from this brilliant author. His first book, When Bad Things Happen to Good People is an international bestseller and has helped many cope with trauma and bereavement by gently explaining that somethings are nobody's fault and that feeling guilty just gives you two things to be sad about rather than one. Kushner is a religious man - and one of the first I have come across that does not use religion as a weapon, truly inspiring.

WHEN ALL YOU'VE EVER WANTED ISN'T ENOUGH offers us the message that the true meaning of life is to live it now. To enjoy in love, life and nature and to enjoy a good day's work. To be useful, needed and kind. Simple stuff you might think - well read the book and the way he explains this message is profound and heart-felt. If you are disgruntled in any way about the meaning or fairness of life, buy one of these two books - preferable both.

This month we thought we would go for something warming and hearty for the family and what could be nicer than Vegetable Shepherd's Pie, it is simple to prepare and enjoyable for all.

You will need;

Oven temperature Gas mark 6/200C/400F

Put the lentils, barley, carrots, onion, tomatoes and their juice and stock into a saucepan. Bring them to the boil, cover the pan and simmer for 40 minutes or until the lentils and barley are soft. Boil the potatoes and mash them with the milk and cheese.

Preheat the oven, put the lentil mixture into an ovenproof dish and pile the mashed potato mixture on top spread out evenly. Make patterns with a fork and if you wish sprinkle a little parmesan cheese on top. Put the pie in the top of the oven for 20 minutes until the top is beginning to brown. Serve piping hot with green beans if required.

This recipe comes from the Whole food Cookery for everyone a Sainsburys cookbook by Gail Duff.

As it is Valentines Day you might want something sweet for your sweet - how about a Coconut Slush.

Blend the coconut to a paste with the boiling water then mix in the milk and honey. Turn into a rigid freezer-proof container, cover and freeze for about 2 hours until half frozen.

Turn into a food processor or blender and whiz for a about 5 - 10 seconds until smooth. Serve in a tall glass.
