1. A Note from Hazel - the new Newsletter Co-ordinator

Appology for the lateness of this news letter, things have been very hectic here this month.

It is the time of the month when we catch up with each other and exchange our views. We are still busy here at therapypages.com and have been working steadily towards our goal.

Tara and I did take the time to travel to the Ideal Home Exhibition last week and had a good look at some of the energy saving ideas there. Some of them were pretty cool as were some of the garden items; we especially liked the machine that produced the effect that looked like mist over water and have decided that we both need one of those. We were very impressed with the Mexican ovens as well and can imagine sitting on the patio with our misty water and cooking pizza in our Mexican oven with a glass of cool white wine on a lovely warm summer evening.

We have also been busy putting the finishing touches to the relaxation and meditation CD's which we hope will be ready for sale in the early summer. Keep an eye on the shop that is available on the website for more information. There will be six in all with more to follow later in the year, I am sure they will be of interest to anyone who is interested in guided imagery. There will also be some new products available soon so keep checking it out!

Well as Easter is here the children are on holiday. The weather is getting slightly better (I think) it is time to relax a little over the holiday weekend and enjoy being with the family and perhaps getting out into the garden and having a tidy up and plant some flowers to add a little colour to our lives. Whatever you choose to do, enjoy it and do it in safety.

Until next month.

Love light and twinkling stars
Hazel.

The recipe for this month is something that the children can help with I know my children used to enjoy helping in the kitchen and making cakes was one of the favourite pastimes. These are a healthy version and fun to make.

Carob Crackles

You will need:-

1. Place the honey, margarine and carob or chocolate in a pan and heat gently, stirring until melted.

2. Add the Bran flakes and sesame seeds and mix thoroughly until well coated.
Spoon into paper cases and leave to set.

They might also enjoy making and eating Shortbread faces for these you will need:

1. Beat the sugar and margarine until light and fluffy. Add the flour and mix until the mixture blends together.

2. Turn onto a floured surface and knead until smooth. Roll out thinly and cut into Circles using 7.5cm cutter. Shape and press in currants cherries and angelica
For eyes nose and mouth.

3. Bake in a preheated oven, 170 C/325F/gas mark 3, for 15 minutes. Leave to cool before eating.

These recipes can be found in the Healthy Food for Kids book by Carole Handslip from the Sainsbury's recipe library.
