The hug page is up and running so get hugging now! August has left us with some space to reflect and where we are going in the future as many people are enjoying their holidays. The lovely Hazel will be taking over the newsletter from September as we welcome her on board as a fully fledged (and paid) member of staff. Thank you for your support and faith, Hazel. Hazel will be taking over the main administration work as well as looking after our growing number of network agents. A dedicated network agent newsletter will be on its way in September/October of this year.
Hazel has done the recipe page and book review this month, saves me a job!
Because our efforts have been with including association and society information on the web-site and also because there are many products going onto this site over the next few months and beyond another month has passed for internet credit card purchases - sorry. This is priority Number One for this month. We are currently looking at developing relationships with some complementary therapy product companies and hope to have some good news on this front soon.
Everything else is running smoothly and we are pleased with the success of therapypages so far. I hope this continues for many years to come.

On our travels we have met another energetic lady, Kim Clague who is the keeper of the Tor Studios, near Canterbury, Kent, UK. Her centre is developing nicely into a complementary therapy retreat that has room to accommodate workshops, meetings and training. Hazel had a shoulder, neck and head massage and drifted out of the treatment room very relaxed. I had a stint in the Aromatherapy Steam Cabinet, a one-man steam room with piped music - also very relaxing. A hydro pool for therapeutic purposes is also available as well as a multitude of therapy treatments. Th setting here is divine; has accommodation, and a lovely sitting room that uses a discrete blend of the energy centre colours for pure pleasure.

Hello! Hazel here and I have been given the delightful task of producing the book review for this month's news letter for TherapyPages. As one of my favourite pastimes is reading this is not a hardship, the hardest part is deciding which book to actually review. I tend to read anything that takes my fanc whether it is a new book or an old one and can spend absolutely ages in my local library. This month the book that took my fancy was one by Angela Wright call "The Beginners Guide to Colour Psychology". I have been decorating in my home and this book gave me ome good advice on which colours to use and how colour can affect our mood. It was written so that even a beginner can understand it.
Divided into five parts the book shows how colour can be used in every part of our lives, it even includes a section to help you to identify your colour type and whether you are Spring, Summer, Autumn or Winter and which shades should suit you best. The work place is not left out and colours to help maximise the output of the workforce can be subtly integrated into the scheme of things. Colour can also be used toinfluence the way in which we shop! I found it a fascinating look at the world of colour, which we so often take for granted. The book is published by Design/Lifestyle and costs around £12.99. It is a very worthwhile investment.

Recipe 1
As it is the time of what should be warm summer evenings and "alfresco" meals on the patio with soft music playing in the background and a chilled glass of wine. I thought you might like to share a favourite recipe of mine. It is a little out of the ordinary but very tasty and simple to prepare, it can be served with a selection of cheeses if desired, it is White Cabbage, Grapefruit and Grape salad.
You will need:-
With these ingredients you need to finely shred the cabbage. Halve and de-seed the grapes, cut the rind and pith from the grapefruit, cut the flesh into quarters and slice it thinly. Mix all three together in a serving bowl. Beat the remaining ingredients together to make the dressing and fold gently into the salad. You can serve chilled with fresh green salad leaves and crisp French bread it is delicious!!!
Recipe 2
It is summer, even if the weather is being slightly unseasonable. This means that the children are on the long summer holiday and are at home. It can be difficult to give them something different for lunch or even for a healthy snack. My family used to enjoy Peanut and Celery spread with little wholemeal scone shapes and perhaps yours will to. It is simple to prepare and can be kept in the fridge for up to 5 days.
You will need:-
With these ingredients you need to heat the oil in a pan, add the onion and celery and fry gently until softened. Mix in the peanut butter, then gradually blend in the water, stirring until thickened. Add the soy sauce and lemon juice and leave to cool. Turn into a clean jar, seal and store in the refrigerator for upto 5 days. As a variation you can serve as a peanut and celery dip, add a little tomato juice to thin the mixture slightly and serve with crunchy vegetable sticks.
For the wholemeal scone shapes make a basic scone mixture with:-
Place the flour, margarine and milk in a mixing bowl and mix with a fork to make soft dough, add more milk if necessary. Turn onto a lightly floured surface, knead lightly and roll out to 3/4 inch thickness cut into shapes i.e. stars animals etc. place on a floured baking sheet, brush with milk and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Bake in a preheated oven 220C/425F Gas mark 7 for 12-15 minutes, cool on a wire rack, serve warm or cold with either the Peanut and Celery spread or a sweet spread if desired. I hope you enjoy it as much as my family does.
